our payment processor, Stripe
Stripe is already holding funds from the GiveSendGo campaign hostage! See GiveSendGo campaign update #4:
Stripe continues to hold several hundred thousand dollars of our funds hostage and we are coordinating with #FightBack to seek remediation of this politically-motivated hack-job. from Snowball's FAQ:
Q: How much does Snowball take from each transaction?
A: Our payment processor deducts a small fee from each transaction to cover credit card costs. Premium transactions get a rate of 2.2% + 30 cents for Premium accounts and 2.9% + 30 cents for all other account types. Donations made via American Express credit cards are charged a flat 3.5% rate (without the extra 30 cents), regardless of plan type.
