Cosmology Researcher Talks database app

I started this project because there are thousands of cosmology research talks and academic lectures hosted at hundreds of sites, but no one site comprehensively tried to collect all this data into a searchable app. So I decided to create one out of personal interest as a service to the cosmology community. Currently, the database has links to over 6,400 talks and lectures from 198 sites. The scope is for cosmology-related research talks publicly available online that are at least at a colloquium level, or academic course lectures. More info at its github repository.

Other useful cosmology resource sites:

• Cosmology Resource Materials. This is also available in a github repo
• Cosmology Papers – Talks Cross-Reference
• Cosmology Talk Slides, typically for events where video recordings are not available but slides are.

Unfortunately, zoom-only non-recorded talks are a missing piece, though very often the same or similar talk by the speaker is recorded elsewhere.

A shout-out to Shaun Hotchkiss and collaborators – I was inspired to start this project after seeing their excellent work on the Cosmology Talks and Cosmology from Home series.
